Cherry Gin-gria Cocktail

Yield : 1 drink

* 2 ounces gin
* 5 to 6 ounces club soda
* 1 ounce red wine
* Maraschino cherries
* Fresh or frozen raspberries

Directions

Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour in the cherry syrup and the gin; stir to mix together. Lighten the drink with a generous splash of soda. Float a layer of red wine on top by pouring it over the back of a wide, flat spoon. (Don't worry if it doesn't float; it tastes great either way.) Strawberry Gazpacho

Give it a try, I think you’ll be surprised at the tasty results.

Ingredients:

* 1 package frozen strawberries
* Fresh mint leaves
* 2 tsp vanilla extract
* 1/2 cup water
* 1/2 cup honey
* 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
* 1 tsp fresh lime juice
* 2 cups total of any individual or combination of the following: strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries

What’s Next:

In a large saucepan, combine the frozen strawberries, 3 or 4 fresh mint leaves, and vanilla extract. Bring to a boil, then simmer on low heat for 20-30 minutes. If mixture becomes too thick, add more water in 1/4 cup increments. Remove from heat, cover, and chill in the refrigerator.

Once chilled, strain ingredients. Pour strained strawberry mixture into a blender, add 1/2 cup water, honey, lemon and lime juice. Blend until very smooth. Add remaining 2 cups of your choice of berries, and pulse gently in blender. The mixture does not have to be fully smooth at this stage.

Spicy Dance - SALSA

IT'S MORE THAN JUST A DANCE...IT'S PASSION...

To my opinion Salsa is one of the sexiest dances. It is a partner dance where couples can demonstrate their natural heat. It is full of passion, emotions, lust and erotism.

Salsa is a dance for Salsa music created by Spanish-speaking people from the Caribbean and their immigrant communities in the US. Salsa dancing mixes African and European dance influences through the music and dance fusions that are the roots of Salsa: SonGuaguancó, Rumba, Boogaloo, Pachanga, Guaracha, Plena, Bomba.

Salsa is normally a partner dance, although there are recognized solo forms, line dancing (suelta), and Rueda de Casino where groups of couples exchange partners in a circle. Salsa can be improvised or performed with a set routine.

The name "Salsa" is the Spanish word for sauce, connoting (in American Spanish) a spicy flavor. Salsa also suggests a "mixture" of ingredients, though this meaning is not found in most stories of the term's origin. The history of "Salsa" dance is peppered with hearsay and contradiction.

Although few would disagree that the music and dance forms originate largely in Cuban Son, most agree that Salsa as we know it today is a North American interpretation of the older forms. New York's Latino community had a vibrant musical and dancing scene throughout the '50s but found limited success with the 'Anglo' mainstream. In the 1970s, adoption of the term "Salsa" reduced the linguistic and cultural barriers to mainstream adoption of Latin music and dance.

The modernization of the Mambo in the 1950s was influential in shaping what would become salsa. There is debate as to whether the dance we call Salsa today originated in Cuba or Puerto Rico. Cuba's influence in North America was diminished after Castro's revolution and the ensuing trade embargo. New York's Latino community was largely Puerto-Rican. Salsa is one of the main dances in both Cuba and Puerto Rico and is known world-wide.

Kissable Hands

The condition of the hands depends on the care you give them. For many people especially housewives and manual workers, the hands are the most overworked and ill-used part of the body. They are exposed to all kinds of wear and tear due to the effects of temperature, climate, frequent wetting, onslaughts of harsh chemicals and due to the risk of minor injury and subsequent infection. Yet the care of the hands is often completely overlooked until, say, the skin becomes rough and cracked or a nail is broken.

Few ways in which you can take care of your hands better!

Hand Massage
To stimulate circulation, rub your palm over the back of the hand and then repeat with the other hand. This movement is very similar to washing your hands and it does not only stimulate circulation but it also warms the hands.

Silky and Soft Hands
Before you go to bed, lavish on the Vaseline or moisturizing cream and then pop on a pair of cotton gloves. Your hands will be incredibly soft by morning.

Too much water and chemicals
Get into the habit of wearing rubber gloves when you do any cleaning around the house. Why? Cleaning agents can be extremely harsh on both nails and hands. The nails when exposed to water swell and then shrink back as they dry. This contributes to brittle nails.

Tips for taking care of hands:

  • Apply olive oil on your hands.
  • Apply the juice of cucumber juice and glycerine on your hands.
  • Mix olive oil and lime juice and apply on your hands.
  • Make a paste of tomato juice, glycerine and lime juice in equal proportion and apply on your hands.
  • Massage with almond oil a night to glow your hands.
  • Apply a paste of ground almonds, milk cream and few drops of glycerine and lemon juice for bleaching.
  • Soak your hands in water in which potatoes have been boiled.
  • One effective method is to rib warm boiled water and mashed potatoes on hands and finger
  • Hands can be softened by taking a mixture of orange juice and honey.
  • Mix rose water and glycerine and apply on your hands with cotton.

Manicure

Get into the habit of giving yourself a weekly manicure , which will make your hands look good along with helping them to combat annoying problems like chipping, splitting, peeling and cracking. Manicure is the care of hands, nails and arms. It prevents nail damage like fragile tips, splits.
